We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader or a screen magnifier.
How accessible this website is
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. In particular, you should be able to:
- move through every menu, tab and question using only a keyboard, and see where you are
- read every page with a screen reader, including the illustrations of Affinux, which have text descriptions
- zoom in to 400% without text spilling off the screen
- turn off animation in your device settings, and the website will respect it
Body text is set in Atkinson Hyperlegible, a typeface designed to be easier to read for people with low vision.
What we are still checking
- The chat window comes from the Affinux app and is tested separately.
- Automated checks found no failures on any page. We have not yet tested the website by hand with a screen reader.
