Is Affinux a CRM?
It does what a CRM does, and more. Affinux keeps one record for each person and runs the work, conversations and money around it, so it replaces several tools instead of adding another.
Can we move our data from our current system?
Yes. Save your spreadsheets or your current system’s exports as CSV files and import them, with a dry run first. You can undo an import of people for 30 days, and we can help you move from systems such as Lamplight and GoodCRM.
Where is our data stored?
Your records, the files you attach to them and every backup are stored in the UK. Affinux runs on its own server, hosted by Hostinger in the UK, and files are stored by Amazon Web Services in London. The database is backed up every night, and changes are saved every five minutes in between. Our security page lists every company that helps us run Affinux.
Do the people we support need a staff seat?
No. Portal logins for carers, mentors and volunteers are never counted as staff seats. Portal access costs £50 a month for 500 contacts.
Can we use our own words?
Yes. Rename people, roles and features to match how you work, whether that’s participants, foster carers, members or candidates. Switch off what you don’t use.
How does Affinux use AI?
AI drafts replies and summaries, and proposes changes, when you ask for them. A person reads and applies every suggestion. Nothing changes a record by itself.
How long does setup take?
You can explore with sample data on day one. When you’re ready, import your spreadsheets, and we’ll plan the rest of the move with you.
Is there a long contract?
No. Plans are monthly, with no minimum term. Cancel at any time, and your plan runs to the end of the month you’ve paid for. After that, your records stay read-only for 14 days so you can download them.
